HPW (Howard Perry & Walston) Goldsboro

Construction is underway at the new Howard Perry & Walston office in downtown Goldsboro! The roof for this historic structure had completely collapsed into this space over a year ago. Now that the old roof has been removed, construction has begun for a new one! The project completion date is projected for February 2019.

Goldsboro Fire Station Update

The Goldsboro Fire Station is almost done! Tenants are putting their final touches in the space for the ribbon cutting on Thursday, October 4. Built in 1939, this redbrick firehouse remains "the most outstanding Art Deco building in Goldsboro." The firehouse now has a crossfit gym and available tenant space on the first floor, and a photography studio and wedding venue on the second floor.

Todd's Building, 21 S. Front St. in Wilmington wins PNC's Carraway Honor Award

The Gertrude S. Carraway Award of Merit will be given to Todd's Building, 21 S. Front St. (which now houses Next Glass HQ) and James Goodnight, for his genuine commitment and significant participation in historic preservation across the state! We are proud to be a partner in preservation and look forward to celebrating this honor at PNC's Annual Conference in Wrightsville Beach/Wilmington this fall!

Montfort Hall Restoration Project

We are thrilled to announce our collaboration on the restoration of one of Raleigh's finest historic landmarks: Montfort Hall, in Boylan Heights. The historic mansion, built in 1858, will be transformed into a boutique inn and event space, pending approved rezoning from the city. Grace Homemade in Smithfield, NC

The building was built as a warehouse in 1950 and will now host a manufacturing facility for Kelly Puryear's famous chicken salad. The Grace Homemade facility will create, package and distribute chicken salad, and other savory goods. There will be a storefront deli for neighborhood shoppers, as well as a mezzanine office space, between the large trusses, for Kelly to oversee the entire process.
